Canteen open, great atmosphere, plenty of action all weekend.
With just 3 weeks until our next junior round and seniors in full swing by then itβs becoming clear that our current number of match officials aged 16+ isnβt enough to cover all games each week.
To keep footy rolling, each junior club needs:
β’ 2 x match officials (15/16 years+) for U14β15 games
β’ 2 x match officials (18 years+) for U16β17 games
β’ 3 x parents or non-travelling volunteers for U6β9 games
We need your support to make sure every game gets played.
Community rugby league relies on community referees. Most of our officials are already players, coaches, managers, volunteers, and parents and we canβt risk burning them out.
If we want to keep growing the game we all love, we need to grow our match official numbers too.
You can make a huge difference to your junior club and your community by stepping up and helping with just 1-2 games per week.
Interested? Send us a DM or fill out the EOI so we can get more courses organised. https://www.cognitoforms.com/TRLRAPublicity/TRLRefereeExpressionOfInterest
