Add these 3 exercises into your next upper body session if you want to build strength and power
1. Banded Bench Press
The bands increase resistance as you press, challenging you to keep producing force as the movement gets harder.
2. ½ Kneeling Med Ball Throw
A simple way to develop explosive upper-body power. The half kneeling position limits how much you can rely on the lower body, placing more emphasis on producing and transferring force rapidly through the torso and upper body.
3. Banded Torso Rotations
Develops the ability to produce force through rotation of the torso. We change the angle of the band to alter where the resistance is coming from and expose the trunk to different rotational demands.

This weekend is a special one for our Under 17 Boys and Girls, as they take the field for their last home game at Brothers.
For some of our boys, their journey in the blue and white started all the way back in Under 6s. From those first games as little kids to now running out as Under 17s, there have been plenty of teammates, coaches, wins, losses and memories along the way.
To all our Under 17 players, coaches, managers and families — thank you for everything you have given to Brothers over the years. 💙🤍
For those who have grown up at this club, this weekend will be a pretty special moment.
Let’s get plenty of Brothers supporters down to the grounds and get behind our Under 17 Boys and Girls for their final home games! 🏉

We’re back at home this Saturday 1st August as Brothers take on Dalby across Glenholme Park!
Games kick off from 8:00am, with plenty of footy throughout the day:

Under 13 Girls through to Under 17 Boys, with the final game kicking off at 3:30pm.
🏉 Vic Sheikowski Oval
Under 8s through to Under 12s from 8:00am, including our Under 11 Girls at 1:35pm.
🏉 Merv Manteit Oval
Under 6s and Under 7s from 8:00am.

⏰ Please check the attached schedule carefully and arrive 10 minutes before your allocated timeslot.
Important reminders:
🚫 Please do not walk across the Seniors Oval – use the designated path around the field.
👥 Players are to wait outside the Seniors Clubhouse until their team is called.
👟 Footy boots are not permitted inside the Seniors Clubhouse. Where possible, wear other footwear to the clubhouse and change into your boots there to help keep the venue clean.
📷 Family photos can be taken throughout the afternoon on Tuesday.
