🏉🔵 BROTHERS HOME GAME DAY, UPDATED TIMES 🔵🏉
This Saturday, 2nd May, Brothers host Dalby at Brothers.
We’ve got a huge weekend of footy kicking off Friday night and continuing all day Saturday across Jim Diamond Oval and Vic Sheikowski Oval.
📍 Friday Night
🏉 Under 16 Boys, 6:30pm
📍 Saturday
⏰ First games from 8:00am
🏉 Last game starts at 3:00pm
🎟️ $5 per adult gate fee
Come down, support our junior players, enjoy a great day at the club, and cheer on the Leprechauns! 🍀⚪🔵🏉
Canteen open, great atmosphere, plenty of action all weekend.
With just 3 weeks until our next junior round and seniors in full swing by then it’s becoming clear that our current number of match officials aged 16+ isn’t enough to cover all games each week.
To keep footy rolling, each junior club needs:
• 2 x match officials (15/16 years+) for U14–15 games
• 2 x match officials (18 years+) for U16–17 games
• 3 x parents or non-travelling volunteers for U6–9 games
We need your support to make sure every game gets played.
Community rugby league relies on community referees. Most of our officials are already players, coaches, managers, volunteers, and parents and we can’t risk burning them out.
If we want to keep growing the game we all love, we need to grow our match official numbers too.
You can make a huge difference to your junior club and your community by stepping up and helping with just 1-2 games per week.
Interested? Send us a DM or fill out the EOI so we can get more courses organised. https://www.cognitoforms.com/TRLRAPublicity/TRLRefereeExpressionOfInterest
Let’s work together to keep our game strong 🏉
