MOD LEAGUE 12 Years

What is mod league for Under 12s?

Junior League is a great way for young boys and girls to stay fit and healthy while having a ball along the way. For our Under 12s, it’s all about being a part of the team, half-time oranges and most importantly having fun!

Under 12s have their own special rules and the elimination of scrums. There are 13 Players per team on the field at a time to ensure plenty of smiles and that everyone gets their turn with the ball.

The essential info:

  • 2 x 20-minute halves
  • 6 tackles in a set.
  • Pass twice in every play.
  • Dummy Half wears a Pink Vest and First Receiver wears a Yellow Vest. Both players can run the ball, be tackled and not turn over the ball to the opposing team.
  • Goal conversion kicks.
  • Kicking is allowed in play but no bombs are allowed.

Boys and girls play in the same teams, usually until the age of 12, that way everyone can play with their friends.
